Where is Weipa ?
Weipa is situated in on the north-western side of Cape York, Far North Queensland approximately 160km from the tip of Australia.  Located approximately 900 kms north west of Cairns, Weipa is only a 90-minute plane flight from Cairns! Weipa is also accessible by road, approximately a 10-hour drive from Cairns. Road conditions can be rough at times it's recommended for the use of a four wheel drive vehicle.
