We’ll guide you in one of Australia’s last fishing frontiers a tropical wonderland, exploring miles of untouched sandy beaches & flats, pristine mangrove creeks, rivers & reef systems. Come and enjoy Weipa the fishing capital of remote Cape York for a fishing adventure you will never forget. Weipa is full of great fishing spots some only minutes away from your accommodation. Endeavouring to show you a new fishing destination each day. We suggest a minimum of 3 Days to experience a little of what Weipa has to offer. Most of our clients prefer to spend 5 days or more.

Your day fishing will begin with a 7.30 am pick from the Hotel and we will fish until 4.30 pm, fishing times may vary to suit clients, tides, etc. We will fish a different destination each day, this will be planned on what you would like to catch & see while you’re here in Weipa.

Please note: We promote Catch & Release, however selected fish may be taken and cooked fresh in Resort Restaurant. We’ll clean & ice your fish for the hotel’s restaurant.

NO FISH to be taken back home.

Bookings: A 50% deposit of charter total, confirms bookings. Remaining balance to be finalised on arrival.

Cancellations: Deposits non-refundable.

Payment: Preferred method of payment is cash, cheque or electronic bank transfer. We do not accept credit cards.

Things to bring,

Clothing: For sun protection we suggest long sleeved shirts, full length trousers and of course a hat. For your eyes, good quality Polaroid sun glasses is a must for eye protection, Polaroid's will also assist in spotting fish in the water. Protective footware for wading. For a tackle suggestions go to Fly Fishing or Sports Fishing pages. If you don't have the right tackle we can supply all your lure fishing tackle requirements on a replacement for loss or damage bases. Fly fishing tackle is not supplied.
